Today my enthusiasm is a bit damped anyway, so too strong southerly winds to pass Punta Gruesa are quite o.k. with me. Other pilots also fail and so we join and fly together to land at the town beach of Cavancha. After some meal at noon I go back to start for an afternoon flight from Alto Hospicio, which ends in relaxed skyscraper soaring next to Philips flightpark. All in all a nice rest day in the air hanging around over Iquique.
